Family Visit Tag Album

I finished my Family Visit Tag Album. This album didn't take too long to make. However it sat on my desk thru the holidays half finished. I finally got around to finishing the project.

The tag album got a bit thick....so I didn't put the original binding together. Instead I found some over sized Jump Rings(book Rings). I need to buy some more book rings online. I searched high and low for some at my local spots but had no luck. As soon as I find some smaller ones....I will replace them with the ones on the album. I think their just a bit too big. That's why there is only 3 on the album right now. Archivers had some but they were 1 inch. I've looked online and Scrapbook.com has some by 7 gypsies in alot of varieties of colors. I think I will purchase a bunch so I have some handy when I need to expand an album or project. Ok, enough about jump rings. As you can see....I goofed up on the cover. I had originally had the red chipboard frame with a rub-on that said "family". However, I put it on when the paint wasn't dry. So that messed up the rub-on. I found this chipboard piece that reads "Family" and I just put it over the messed up part. It worked great but it's a little bigger than I would have liked.

Here some views of the album: Top view

Side view

These are the inside pages of the tag album. The photos were taken when some of my family was in town for a summer visit. My sister Wanda and her family(Tom, Paula, Beth and Drew), My sister Charline, and My twin brother Paul were all in the photos.

On these pages
I used a border sticker from Deja View: Sharon Ann Timeless Collection(family theme). From same collection I used a (smile) sticker and (Happy) Chipboard Piece. In the photos: Paula, Char, and Wanda, Beth, Drew and Aaron.

A photo of the men: Doug, Tom and Paul. I used this double sided die cut flower for journaling and adding another page. Thoughout the album I used little mini tags within the tag album for journaling. I tucked them behind the pix. I used the crop a dile to make the round holes. I didn't have a square punch and I remember Ali Edwards saying she used the crop a dile for the same reason. Also scraplifting another idea from Ali E..................I used a transparency sheet to adhere the double sided die cut flower to and journal on the flip side. The double sided die cut was really slick for this purpose.

As you can see here is the flip side of the transparency sheet.

I picked up some Fun chipboard stickers, and Rub-on's from Deja View Sharon Ann Timeless Collection. That line of product had some really cool stickers. I used the border sticker and added some Gems. The little Journal tag I stamped "family" onto it. Love those little journal tags...so cute. In the photo: My sister Wanda, her daughters Paula and Beth.

I used another border sticker and one of the chipboard pieces(what matters Most). I added some ribbon and a chipboard piece from Lil Davis Design(Memories). I added some Flower Gems along the border for a accent and some BLING. In the photo: group shot of Doug, Pauline and Aaron with my Niece and her son Drew.

The Sharon Ann Timeless Collection(family) stickers had a couple cute Tab stickers. I used this one that reads: Togetherness. I added it to the side of the photo. Also added the journal tag. In the photo: Group shot of Beth and the boys with my Brother Paul. Next page photo: Beth, Paula, Pauline and Char.

Here is the other side of the tab sticker. I added one of the rub-on's from the Timeless Collection Onto a paper lined chipboard piece. I added another tag for an extra page element. The "Good Times" Sticker is from the Timeless collection too. In the photo: My sister Wanda and her husband Tom and their Grandson Drew.

Here is the flip side of the tag I added. Another Sticker from Timeless collection and a Basic Grey Rub-on(Cherish-forever). In the Photo: Tom, Wanda, and Paul.

Here some pages dedicated to my Twin Brother Paul. Aaron just loved his uncle Paul. I got some good photos of Aaron and Paul together. I used another die cut flower and a round chipboard piece from the Timeless Collection. Also from the collection(I adore You) Chipboard saying. I stamped a ric-rac border around the photo. I LOVED these metal alphabets Stickers. I used them to spell out (Uncle Paul). Love the font on them. Such a fun and whimsical font. I wish I would have bought more of these letters. I bought them along time ago. I am going to search and see if they still have them in stock somewhere. In the photo: Aaron and his Uncle Paul.

More with Uncle Paul. Used the ric-rac stamp again...and some sticker sayings from the timeless collection. I love this photo of Aaron laughing with uncle Paul. "priceless"! I like that Tom is laughing in the background too. That photo captured alot!

I like how this page turned out. The colors...who would think that yellow and PINK could be used for a boy page huh? I can get away with it here because the theme is FLOWERS. The boys decided to play in my Hydandra bush and it was in full bloom. So cute! Glad I got pixs of this moment the boys shared. I used a round chipboard piece frame from the timeless collection and a Large (&) from the Timeless Collection. Again, used the fun funky font from pressed petals and Basic Grey rub-on(friends). The arrow rub-on is from Bo Bunny. I decided to use up some extra photos. I cut out round pixs of Aaron and Drew and the Hydandra bush with my round punch and added them with my round chipboard piece. To the next page I distress/sanded the edges of the photo of Drew and Aaron together.

I got a few photos of the boys in the hydandra bush.*ha* so cute! so Cute I had to spell out CUTE with some chipboard pieces. It reads : Cute together. Aren't they? Mischievous but CUTE! I like the photo I took of the boys on the bench on the next page. Aaron and Drew are very close to the same age.

More Hydandra TIME~Drew looks so funny here. True BOY! Aaron looks like a little worried in the next photo. I think he is wondering if he's suppose to be in the flowers like this?*ha* I wrote Happy Delight with some rub-on's and flower rub-on's are from Die cuts with a view. Used Hero Art Gems.

More of the same: Smile boys! Here I added another transparency and double sided flower. I used some Cosmo Cricket Border rub-on's and Epoxy Stickers(smile and laugh).

The flip side of the transparency. I used a large brown chipboard frame from Sharon Ann Timeless Collection. More of the pressed petals font(the Boys).

Again, I wanted to use MORE extra photos...so I took my round punch and cut out every one's Face profile. Put it in a collage style and used another journal tag from Timeless Collection(10 things I love). Than, I stamped out every one's name. (the family is everything sticker is from Timeless Collection too).

What's on the other side of the journal tag: YEP! Can't leave Muffin out. *ha* This time the round frames are Stickers from the Timeless Collection. I used my Quickutz Spicey Chicken Font to spell out Muffin.

I know your realizing that the round punches I made with the crop a dile for the binding don't match up together in these photos(not to worry...it's only the way I scanned them in-They match up to hold the book together).
The last page: More of US gals. I used Cosmo Cricket Rub-On for flower border and added another journal tag. See tags below.

Here is the designs on the tags. All I did to the tags was add journaling(which you can't see here asI blocked it out) and some Rub-on's and Stamping.

Here is the Donna D. Kit I used for my project. The small Tag Album in the front with multi stripe is the one I used for this project. I also used some word rub-on's and chipboard that belonged to this kit.

More product I used on this album. I LOVE FREE stuff. This Paper pack from Daisy D was a FREE paper kit I got from my Fav. Store: Archivers. Archiver's will give Free items away once in awhile if you spent a certain amount at one time or if your a member. Etc....etc.... This paper pack was one of those free items. Most of the paper i used in the project was from this paper kit. I LOVE Daisy D papers. The double sided flower and the tags were all from this mini kit. SUPER! Metal Letters from Pressed Petals and Hero Arts Gems(I love their line of gemstones)!

I used alot of this product on the whole album. The Deja View: Sharon Ann Timeless Collection, Rub-on's, Stickers and chipboard pieces. These were all from their Family Theme.

This chipboard was really FUN and Love the colors on these. Such fun design and colors and patterns. The chipboard was really thick and sturdy too.

Onto the next project. I have a Valentine Project in the works. See my new Valentine Banner? That was my Valentine Project from last year. My Paper Hearts. Thought I would use them for my banner this year. You can see back to my post last year how I made My Paper Hearts and how I got the inspiration for making that project.

TFL!
