Gearing Up for the Holidays

You can tell by my new banner above that I am gearing up for the Fall season. I bought a bunch of Daisy D themed Scrapbooking items. Some Halloween and some Fall themed. Can't wait to use this kit. I love fall time colors! Such fun greens, Oranges, Purples and Reds. Love it!

Along with the Daisy D embellies(buttons, Flowers, Ribbon and Chipboard) I also bought some stickers, and Rub-on's and tags.

Just love those Rub-ons....especially the Halloween ones.

Daisy D has so many nice kits. I love the vintage homey look of their product.

I also bought the 8x8 tablets again. I love Daisy D papers but when I got home and looked thru these.....I was a little disappointed in the patterns and colors. Oh well....I will still use them. I guess I like their Christmas one better. The rest of the kit makes up for it as the colors and embellies are too much fun to pass up. I did like the tags too that were part of the collection. I really need to stay out of the store around fall time. I just can't handle when I see Halloween and Fall Scrapbook items. Ha!

These Flowers are going to go great too for an extra Punch. I know I already bought some with this kit. However, these were my Auto Delivery flowers from QVC. Love the quality and the quantity you get with QVC. Lots of different shape flowers and colors and jewels and brads to go along with the flowers. LOVE IT!


I couldn't pass this up..................I don't stitch at all on my pages. Let's just say I don't even own a sewing machine. Ha! So this was a great product for the sewing challenged people. I can't wait to try these out. Daisy D makes them and their rub on tape.

Moving on to Christmas....I know it's a little early but always good to get a JUMP on the Holiday season. I bought these albums from QVC(remember in my old post)? I wanted to share how cute these truly are in a photo.
I love the look of these 8x8 albums. Plus, it's a kit with 3D stickers and epoxy stickers and alphas inside the album. Great value! I love 8x8 size too. It's my favorite to scrap.

QVC Scrapbook Fair Purchases

Finally took some pixs of my QVC stuff. Good thing it's only on twice a year(all day scrapbook fair). I usually don't get anything but this year I was prepared and saved some of my Christmas $$$ for QVC scrap fair. Plus, it was my Vday presents as well. I will take it over candy and flowers anyday. Both candy & flowers are nice but scrap stuff last forever and ever in a scrap page.~hee!

Here is the first: This kit was just so super cool. They didn't even over hype this product. They should have....it was GREAT and love all that you get with it. Plus the tags are to DIE 4. Embossed tags with so many great patterns. I haven't even looked thru the papers. They were in such a nice package ...I didn't want to tear into them(so I could store them nicely away). Below are some closer looks at this kit.

The awesome embossed tags. I just LOVE these colors and Patterns so much! I should have ordered the other kit too. They had two colors to choose from. This seemed more boy color friendly ...as the other one had more pinks and such in it/but still........should have gotten the other kit too. Keep your eye out for this kit. Great kit! This one was Vineyard.

First pix is the wonderful alpha stickers and more great sticker tags & sayings. The other pix is all the rub-ons this kit has with it. Can't wait to use all these elements together. FUN FUN FUN!

Donna D. kits........these are very unique books. Some with envelopes and tags etc......I love mini books. This should keep me busy for awhile. Can't wait to dig into it. I didn't even show all that was in this kit. There is bare chipboard and all kinds of rub-ons and stuff. All neatly tucked away in a nice package(again, didn't want to open it just yet for storage reasons). I love how they make kits/so easy to store and keep away when you purchase them together. So nice!

These are fun! I have a kit of K & Co./Brenda Walton already/and loads of supplies that coordinate together. So thought this kit would be a nice addition to that kit. I really like those swatch book to go books. They have everything labeled with those neat tabs on the side. So easy to find the right quote or sticker. Super cool!

I don't have much rub-ons in my collection. So when I saw this on QVC I just had to order them. Store away in this super neat tins. Aaron love playing with these when I got it in the mail the other day. Opened up the box and he was drawn in to the fun tins.~hee! Kept him busy for awhile.

I got these library pocket tags. I love tags of all types. These just seemed unique. Haven't seen these around much. I almost got a different tag kit but this one seem more my style. The other one was more vanilla style tags/and journal tags. They were more unique but I like color and thought this one was more vivid.

Ok, I am busted! This isn't from QVC....hee hee hee sssshhhh! Don't tell the Dh! No really, he knows already. I bought this up in Grand Forks. They have two scrapbook stores in town. So I went to the one and got myself some more Cosmo Cricket. Just love their papers. Found the chipboard too. I already used a couple of these papers before. However, couldn't pass up the whole kit. Can never have enough paper right?

Love, LoVe, LOVE Clear stamps. I needed some cursive alpha stamps. So I got these and with it was this neat shapes. Fun, Love those. Can't wait to use them. I didn't really need another block but hey it comes with it...oh well!

The big purchase was the Bohemia Kit by My Minds Eye. Love this Kit/that's all I can say! super colors/and patterns. Look all that you get with this kit. Plus easy to store away. Love it! All low profile things. I love the transparencies with this kit. As you can tell/I put it on my banner above at the top of my blog. Who wouldn't like this kit ...especially the fun name: Bohemia. Fits it perfect! This sold out really fast on QVC........I got it before it did. Yipppeee! I can see why. Plus, the fact that Lisa Bearnson mentioned when presenting it on QVC/she happen to mention it was Ali Edwards favorite kit. After she said that........it was going, going........GONE! Below is just a few closeup views of the transparencies.

Not only do you get awesome paper selection ....and fun transparencies. This kit has this huge selection of tags & Frames. All in two sheet die cuts. Love everything about this kit. All for a super great savings. Love QVC! My Dh signed me up for the membership savings. So I should save even more now on shipping and other stuff. I don't buy too often from them but when I do...I go nuts/as you can see. LOL!

Hope you have as much fun "peeking" as I did purchasing. TFL and have fun and always remember QVC has good scrap supplies at good price. Always have to figure in the cost of shipping as a factor. Their shipping is expensive. It's great for bulk rate buying. I highly suggest it to new scrapbookers. Get alot for your buck and alot more of the product for a better price(usually). Depends on the product really.

Scrapbooking with Lisa Bearnson Book # 3

Wooo hoo! That is what I said today when I got this in the mail today. I've been waiting since last spring for this book. I ordered it from QVC and was wait listed. I never bothered canceling or getting the book elsewhere. I figured I didn't have time to tackle the mini book it comes with so I was ok waiting. The weird thing is ........I got it TODAY! What's weird about that??? Well, it's Lisa Bearnson birthday TODAY. WOW! Special timing or just coincidence??? I am not making this up either/it came by ups today. I found it quite funny! It was more like my birthday opening this package up. So much fun items inside. I just love Lisa's kits. They are so so fun and are good quality. I can't wait to look thru the idea book too. So much fun inside one box! LOVE IT!!!!



Here is a closer up view below. Above pix you can see the Foam stamps better and the idea book/and the chipboard letters. I just ordered Lisa's mega chipboard kit/now i have even MORE bare chipboard that comes with this kit. What fun! This kit just has so much to it. The book alone is worth the money but than you get a small scrapbook/and kit. Plus, chipboard and foam stamps. These foam stamps look really nice too/they are clear. So you can see what your doing with the stamp. Great!!!



I went to Lisa's blog today and noticed she was having a contest. The first people to respond (first 43/because Lisa turned 43 today) to respond to her contest would win something special from her. Didn't say what? Just said she would be shipping it out to the first 43 that got her questions right. Here was the questions:

Yeehaw...it will be nice visiting with her and doing some scrapbooking. Erin is working on her wedding photos from last year. So much fun! Erin has so many wonderful pixs of her wedding. Can't wait!

All you lucky people at CHA this weekend in California/have a great time! How lucky, they get to see Martha Stewart as the keynote speaker this year. She is introducing a new line of products with Micheal's craft stores. You knew she had a motive-she such a money maker-that Martha! I still like her even tho she went to the "pokey". She can do anything and I admire her for doing her time.

QVC & Lisa Bearnson Kit

I posted on Lisa blog site how awesome this chipboard kit is: so go out and get it if you haven't already. It makes a nice gift for someone too/since it comes packed in such a cute storage box. The chipboard I don't have a pix of that/but it comes nicely tucked inside this box. Great Value! The chipboard is bare /so you can paint or alter it anyway you like. I think this was called Chip Chatter chipboard? but look at all you get....WOW! I bought all three colors so I had alot of it. Stocking up since QVC has good values on their scrapbook supplies.



Great value because you get the large/and the small lettering. The big letter chipboard packages have 3 colors of chipboard inside. Again, love QVC for their great value in supplies! Can't wait for the next show in Feb. Check your local listings.......so you don't miss out!

Gift Card Shopping........OH YEAH!

I just went shopping to Archivers with a gift card in tow. My Mother-in-law put a gift card in my Christmas stocking. Yippeee....she knows what I like! Thanks Judy.....if you read this you can see what I used it on.



I bought some paper kits ....as I can always use paper. Love paper kits/that have all coordinating papers and punch outs and alphas. I bought a few different kinds of paper kits from different companies. I also purchased some Clear stamps and Ribbon. Check it out:



Crate Paper Kits! These would be my first Crate Paper purchase. I love the colors to these papers and just wanted so bad to try them out. I couldn't resist the Christmas one: Holly Collection. I wanted to try out the cowboy collection and the Crate Avenue Collection look like alot of fun too.

Next I picked up some Daisy D Paper kit. I LOVE Daisy D products...and this paper looked so vintage just like all their other papers. I loved the tag cutouts that come with this kit. Just buying it for the tags was worth the money!

Of course, I had to pick up my favorite papers thus far........some Cosmo Cricket Paper kit. I picked up their Wonderland Collection(Christmas Papers). I only wish they had more kits to pick from....I would have gotten more Cosmo Cricket papers if they had the paper packs. The only one I could find at Archivers was this Christmas collection. IT was on my wish list tho/so i picked it up. I will have to buy the Cosmo papers from Scrapbook.com site. They had them all. Scrapbook.com is the BEST company to order from. I never had a problem with them and my stuff gets to me FAST. They have super shipping! Both Scrapbook.com and Cropaholics are great online sites to purchase from. Both have excellent shipping and services. Scrapbook.com has the best ONLINE community too. I know alot of people are 2 pea'ers but check out scrapbook.com too. They have a great gallery and store and blogs and contests.

I love these clear stamps from Autumn Leaves! I am trying to collect many. I thought I would try these other clear stamps too. I needed some with some backgrounds to them. These looked cute from: Stampendous!






Picked up some more ribbon. Love this Twill from Foof-a-la(just LOVE the name too)! I love pattern on this twill ribbon. Seems like it would go with the Daisy D paper well?

The lavender ribbon was AWESOME buy.....it was FREE! My coupon for the HOT SPOT item at Archivers I picked out this ribbon. I always try to pick out ribbon in the hot spot area(discount) because you can always use ribbon.

Ok.....I purchased this at the end of the day. Why not! Shopping at Archivers and Starbucks.....kinda goes together don't ya think?

I also visited "Potbelly's" sandwich shop. Love that place! I Got these yummy cookies to go with my Starbucks! Great end of the day treat.....go ahead...go get yourself some...you deserve it! You know YOU DO!~hee~

Look what was in the mail today..........

The Ribbon I ordered from QVC arrived in my mailbox today....YIPPEEE! I ordered this way back in Summer/Fall. It was waitlisted but I like that. That way it just shows up and it's a fun surprise. ~hee~

Here it is in that sweet small package. I just loved the colors on the ribbon. I think they are DCWV (Die cuts with a view)brand. They are self adhesive ribbon.

This was not in the mail today. Just the ribbon. However, I thought I would post these products I used on my cards. Here are the primas I talked about that you can get at Target.

KI Memories kits: I used the Joyful for my cards and they worked great! KI has alot of wonderful embellishment kits. I used Joyful for Christmas but they also have Halloween(shown below) and winter one too. KI also has a line of papers and chipboard and loads of accents that match the kits. Below is a pix of the Chipboard that goes with the Halloween kit.
