Valentine Friendship Cards

Hi All! I am so slow with my blog. I see I haven't updated since the new year. Terrible! I've been busy just enjoying time with family and Friends. I finally found time to start to scrapbook. I don't think I have done any scrapbooking since last Valentine's. It's always fun to get Valentine papers. Aaron had a school project to hand out "Friendship" cards for his classmates. I thought it would be fun to home make some cards and have Aaron help. We had a good time putting together the cards. Here are some supplies we used:
K & Co. Valentine Paper Pack. I love their paper....I bought the paper pack last year this year I had to get it again. Such FUN variety of LOVE papers. So cute!

Here is the basis for the cards. I started by buying some cute Cat & Dog felt covers for candy lollipops. Oh, and how marvelous is those new Glue Dots dispensers(LOVE EM)! I also bought these stickers on springs.
I bought some bling Heart stickers, and some paper ribbons. I didn't use the pins(thought this would be a great way to stick my felt animals to the paper but rethought that notion(I didn't want little kids poking their eyes out with them I saved them for myself later to use).
Here is the idea I thought up to hold the lollipops and still make a card. I made a pocket and put both lollipops (I also bought heart shape lollipops) into the pocket. This is my example....I will share with you soon how they all turned out with the paper and embellishments.
