Valentine Photo Card Book

Here is the Valentine projects I made for my MIL. I decided last minute to make my MIL some photos of last Valentine's day. I made myself a valentine's day project similar, only mine was a Valentine's Photo display(I will post that later). Only this project I made a front cover and attached all the photo cards to a ring binder. Really easy to do. I like this so much I think I will do the same to my project after I am done with the photo display after Valentine's Day. All I will have to do is add pattern paper to the back of the photo cards(round circles) and put them on a jump ring/binder. Here is a closeup of the cover. I was kicking myself for not getting the K and Company "smitten" collection from QVC. So I decided to buy some of the elements for it and use it on this project. I bought the pattern paper in the smitten collection. Aren't the papers just fun!? I also bought some Grand adhesions, chipboard & glitter letters, Rub-on's. Everything else, was a mixture of scrap supplies. Like, Daisy D buttons and flowers and ribbon. Various rhinestones and some MM heart brads and Shimmer Brads and Chipboard buttons.

I also used Archivers New brand of card making supplies(yours truly). This is the round and scalloped papers I used to make the whole project. That's why it was so simple. I already had the bare bones for making easy cards. I just added the photos and the pattern papers and embellies. THese cards are great. They come in all colors and sizes etc. I used mostly Blossom, Red and Lux White. The circles were 5 and half x 5 and half in size. I cut out the Smitten pattern paper with my Handy Curvey cutter Circle. Worked slick! Than just adhered them to the back of my Yours Truly circle.

I also used a Silver and Gold Leafing pen(by Krylon). Love those pens! Made everything shimmer. I used my Canyon Grille pix on the inside cover. As it's our tradition with MIL and FIL to go out to eat to the Canyon Grille(restaurant) on Valentine's Day.

I added rub on's to the pattern paper too. See the hearts on this page? I added the white rub on hearts to it.

I love this flower ribbon from Making Memories. I used them alot in this project. I also added silver edging around letter M with the leafing pen.

This one got a little fuzzy with the camera........sorry! Love the butterfly paper. Added the Rubon to it(passion)

I love this pix of muffin.

This one too of Muffin and more of the butterflies.

I cut circles in the scalloped edges to make it appear like lace paper. Used my crop a dile tool to punch the holes in the scallop edges.

Aaron was helping me scrapbook. So I put him to work to make a page for Grandma and Grandpa. He did this above. I just added the little extra to it and said it was Aaron's art.

THe end! Used more of that same pattern paper from the cover. Tied some ribbon to the ring and it's done. Gave this to my MIL on Valentine's Day.

Here some of the supplies I used for the project(minus the stamps: I used on my photo display cards that I will show soon). Everything is here except for the smitten collection stuff. I bought that just for my MIL project above. I have hopes to use the rest on mine as well later on.
